Hawaiian Lomi Lomi is a deeply spiritual form of bodywork developed by the Kahunas of the Hawaiian Islands and handed down, generally within a family unit, for generations. Steeped in tradition and shrouded in secrecy, this work was uniquely Polynesian until the early seventies when Aunty Margaret Machado decided that Kahunas should be "sharers of the secrets" rather than "keepers of the secrets."
Aunty Margraret has generously shared her wisdom with countless students over the years at her beach house on the Kona coast of the island of Hawaii. Now the Paragon Institute is bringing Lomi Lomi to the Mainland.
Our workshops are based on the work of Aunty Margaret, and are presented with her blessing.
